Kiro uses a smart multichannel structure with connected agents to handle leads from first contact to scheduled meeting.

Here’s how each part works:

1. WhatsApp as an Entry Point

  • Incoming messages are detected via a webhook

  • Messages sent by the agent are ignored

  • Phone numbers are cleaned and matched to the database

  • If it’s text, a prompt is built and passed to the AI sales agent (GPT-4.1)

  • The agent replies, qualifies the lead, and can schedule a meeting or update your CRM

2. Instagram Integration

  • Works just like WhatsApp

  • Configured through Meta Developers with a webhook and token

  • Incoming messages trigger the same prompt logic

  • Responses are sent back through the Instagram API

3. Facebook Messenger

  • Same setup as Instagram

  • Uses the Meta Developers webhook

  • Messages are received, processed by the AI agent, and sent back via Messenger

Connected AI Agents

To manage everything smoothly, Kiro relies on multiple specialized agents:

  • Main Agent
    • Receives the prompt, lead data, and channel
    • Decides what action is needed
    • Delegates to:
      • CRM Agent (for contact and opportunity management)
      • Calendar Agent (for scheduling appointments)
  • CRM Agent
    • Searches for the contact by phone number
    • Creates or updates contact records
    • Logs new opportunities by service type
    • Tracks deal status (Qualified, Meeting Scheduled, Proposal Sent, Negotiation, etc.)
  • Calendar Agent
    • Schedules, updates, or cancels appointments
    • Uses default rules like +7 days for estimated meeting dates
    • Syncs everything to Google Calendar

Database and Tools

  • PostgreSQL is used to store contacts, opportunities, and full conversation history

  • Airtable or Google Sheets can be used instead for lighter setups

  • Evolution API handles WhatsApp messaging

  • Meta Developers connects Instagram and Facebook

  • GPT-4.1 powers the sales logic and lead qualification

  • Supabase (optional) can be used for semantic search and enriched responses
